I finished top on this one. But top 5 gets $2 each, so it does not matter if you finish 1st or 5th. There was a guy who sit out most of the time and only came back in the last few seconds and managed to finish top 5 i think, isn’t that just cheap?! Anyway just happy i manage to win my first tourney although it’s the smallest of the smallest tourney, i earned this 85 cents!!!

180 players. $4.40 Buy-in. 9-18th gets $8. 1st gets $210. 2nd about $100. 3rd-8th gets between $10-90. I played this format once before, finished 63rd position after playing really tight. This time i was leading early like ranked 20-30 out of 180. Then came a flop 347 all hearts. I held K3 of heart, decidedly to slow play. Turn came 6. I raised a little guy raised me again, i raised back, then he raised, then i raised all-in, he called. He really held a A5 of hearts. So sad. I was hoping he had the straight. But from then i went downwards, went all-in with 99, lost to a set. Finished 113.

27 players. 1st gets $10, 2nd $7.20, 3rd $4.80, 4th $2.80, 5th $2.20. So the point is to get into Top 5 if you want to reclaim your money. And guess what i finished 6th!!! i was short stacked $900, my card was K7. paid $400 big blind. Everyone folds. Guy on small blind wants to bully me out of the pot, he raised to $800, pretty much putting me all-in. I called. flop came 248 or something, of no help to me. He raised me $100 to put me all-in, i called of course. He revealed J9, I’m K7. So if the next two cards don’t hit us, i would win with K high. Turn came 7! River came… J -.- bah. First reaction was a feeling of disgust. But now feeling normal again. Going out to grab something to eat, maybe exercise a bit. Feeling more positive about playing online poker now!
